Quick overview on how to understand what all the page settings are and how to use them
Page settings are where you will be able to input information that is related to a specific page you have mapped out on the canvas.
By selecting a page on the canvas, a small toolbar will appear below the page with various icons (settings).
These icons represent (in order from left to right): Style Settings - Tracking Settings - More
In Style Settings - You can specify the following:
- Label
- URL
- Icons
Mapping Settings
Label:
The icon label is what displays above the icon on the canvas. To change the label, click on the icon, then select the gear on the far left. From the right sidebar, edit the field titled label.
URLs:
Funnelytics will use the URL in the page settings to display the data related to that URL on the canvas.
- In order to track, there must be a URL present in the page settings.
- URLs cannot contain unsafe characters, such as < > # % { } | ^ ~ [ ] ( )
- URLs cannot contain parameters. When a parameter is included in the URL, it will automatically be added to the parameters section of the page settings.

You can generate a preview of the actual page in the page icon by clicking the camera button just next to the URL.
Icons:
This section lets you change the thumbnail, or the icon, of the page on the canvas.
In Tracking Settings - You can specify the following:
- URLs
- Parameters

Tracking Settings
URLs:
As in the Style Settings, the URL field allows you to enter the address of the page your wish to tracking. If you happen to include any parameters in the URL, you will see those parameters are automatically applied to the "Filer Page by URL Parameters" list. If filtering parameters are applied, individuals tracked on that page will only be represented on the canvas if those parameters were present when they visited your page.
Parameters:
Parameters FILTER the page views on that page by the KEY and VALUE pair that you select. Learn more about parameters.
In More - You will find the following:
- Label
- URL
- Copy
- Duplicate
- Delete
- Bring Forward
- Bring to Front
- Send Backward
- Send to Back
Note: In addition to being able to label your Page Icon, Enter a Tracking URL and Generate a Thumbnail, in the more tab, you will find the option to position your Page icon in relation to other elements that may appear on the Canvas.
