The difference between a simple and advanced action
Actions allow you to represent the actions users take on your pages visually on the canvas.
There are two forms of actions:
Simple actions represent page-to-page interactions that a user takes in your funnel.
Simple actions allow you to visually represent what action took place in order for the user to go from one page to another.
The numbers under the simple action represent the number of users that went from page 1 to page 2.
You set a simple action by mapping a page to the left and right of the action and not defining any advanced settings.
Like simple actions, if an action is advanced, it allows you to visually see what behavior a user took on your pages.
That means that even if a user goes from page 1 to page 2, if the action data wasn't received the action won't be counted and it won't look like the user went from one page to the other.
Action data must be received in order to assign an action to event data.
