Detailed Tutorial
The Checklists in Funnelytics are designed to simplify your workflow, aid in task organization, and ensure you never miss a beat when managing your marketing funnels. In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you through every aspect of leveraging Funnelytics Checklists effectively.
Access the Checklist Tab
Your journey with Funnelytics Checklists begins by opening one of your marketing funnels within the Funnelytics platform. Once you have your canvas open, navigate to the Checklist tab, which you can access in one of two ways:
Option 1: Opening the tabs on the left side of the canvas (if they are not already open) and move to the checklist tab
Option 2: Select an element on the canvas, click Planning and then Checklist
Types of Checklists
Understanding the two types of Checklists offered by Funnelytics is crucial. Let's delve into each of them:
Canvas Level Checklist: This type of checklist is associated with the entire canvas, allowing you to store general information, notes, and tasks that pertain to the overall funnel.
Element Level Checklist: Element-level checklists are specific to individual elements within your funnel. These elements typically include sources, pages, or actions. Keep in mind that certain elements, such as shapes, text, or lines, do not support checklists at this time.
Creating Checklists
Now that you're familiar with the types of Checklists, let's explore how to create them within Funnelytics:
The Canvas checklist is always available. Here, you can start adding checklist items relevant to the entire funnel.
For element-level checklists, simply select the specific element (e.g., a page) to which you want to attach the checklist, then click Planning and then Checklist. The checklist is automatically created for that chosen element.
Managing Checklist Items
Funnelytics Checklists come equipped with a variety of features to help you efficiently manage your tasks:
Formatting: Customize checklist items by selecting text, applying bold italic or strikethrough formatting, highlighting, and more.
Indentation: Organize your checklist items effortlessly. Use the Tab key to indent items or Shift+Tab to outdent them, creating a structured hierarchy.
Drag and Drop: For added convenience, click and drag checklist items to rearrange them as needed.
Context Menu: Clicking on the three dots at the right of the checklist items will give you access to a context menu that offers options such as adding child items, deleting items, and copying items.
Import from Microsoft Office and Google Docs: If you've previously created checklists in Microsoft Office or Google Docs, you can seamlessly import them into Funnelytics by copy-paste, saving you time and effort.
Tracking Progress
Monitoring your progress is a breeze with Funnelytics Checklists. Here's how you can keep tabs on your tasks:
Completion Status: Each checklist item features a checkbox that can be marked as completed. This simple but effective feature allows you to track which tasks are finished.
Hide Completed Items: To maintain a clutter-free workspace, Funnelytics offers the option to automatically hide completed checklist items. This ensures that your focus remains on outstanding tasks.
Progress Bar: At the top of the Checklist tab, you'll find a progress bar that provides a clear visual representation of the overall completion status of your checklist.
